Founder story
A founder note from Yibin
I'm Yibin, founder of Advar.
Over the past eight years, I've led video recommendation systems for apps with tens of millions of monthly active users, worked on e-commerce SaaS platforms connected to billions of dollars in GMV, and served as an AI product manager at a public company that builds AI training platforms.
In 2026, as AI-generated video ads started moving from novelty to real production, I saw a rare overlap between the work I had done and a fast-changing market.
But the market had a problem.
If you use raw video models or node-based workflows, it is still extremely hard to create ad videos with consistent faces, consistent products, native social feel, and real creative range. A few strong studios can do it, but even they can only produce a limited number of launch-ready ads each day.
If you use templates or lip-sync avatars, you can generate hundreds of videos a day, but most of them feel stiff, repetitive, and easy to ignore. They struggle with dynamic scenes, real product interaction, and original creative concepts.
For paid social, that tradeoff is not good enough.
To win in the feed, quality and volume both matter.
Quality gives a video a chance to earn attention and distribution inside recommendation systems. Volume gives advertisers enough shots to test angles, variants, and creative hypotheses inside a black-box market.
Advar was built to solve that tension.
We built a fully cloud-based video production system powered by nine specialized AI agent teams, focused specifically on performance marketing videos. The goal is simple: help teams produce ads that are not just generated, but launch-ready.
We study social media and paid ad trends the same way performance marketers do. We track new AI models closely, test the strongest available systems, and keep refining the workflow until the output meets a high creative bar.
But video production alone is not enough.
Too many AI ad tools claim they will replace human marketers. I think that misses the point.
The hardest part of a winning ad is rarely the act of producing it. It is understanding the customer's pain, emotion, hesitation, desire, and context. It is the creative judgment that turns a product into a message people actually care about.
That is where humans still matter most.
So Advar also includes a scripting AI trained monthly on winning ads across 72 categories. It is not designed to replace your understanding of your product or your customer. It is designed to help you turn that understanding into sharper scripts, faster angles, and more executable creative tests.
I believe AI should not reduce creative work into cheap content production.
It should remove the bottlenecks that stop good ideas from becoming real ads.
That is what we are building with Advar: a system for teams that care about quality, volume, and creative judgment at the same time.
If you have questions, feedback, or want Advar to better fit your workflow, I'd be glad to hear from you.
